Both the OME CI builds and the nightly Bio-Formats repository tests were successful with this included.
Should we aim to cut a patch release of ome-common and propagate through all downstream components? Or better to wait a few weeks as Bio-Formats 8.4.0 is currently planned for January 2026?

If we're not doing anything imminently around #105, then probably makes sense to release ome-common soonish. As with ome-model though, later in the month would be fine, it doesn't necessarily need to be this week.

Happy to cut the release of these components on my list later this week. Primary candidates with explicit logback dependencies are ome-common, ome-model and metakit. Do we also want to bump the ome-common version in other components like ome-poi and release them as part of this?

I think so. Probably makes sense to update ome-common in metakit too before releasing. If you have time to do the ome-common release, I can open all of the version bump PRs late this week/early next week.

This should now be published as https://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/openmicroscopy/ome-common/6.1.1/ and ready for consumption in downstream repositories
