@thunderhook, I am a bit confused by the PR. In #235 (comment), you are saying that this has been fixed on main and that you will add a test case. However, I see that you are actually doing changes in production code.
The production code looks like the one in e99789c. Did you make some mistake perhaps when creating the PR?
