scipy.stats is used throughout the module (median_abs_deviation, skew, norm) but was never explicitly imported. Python does not auto-import submodules, so every call to scipy.stats would raise AttributeError. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
