Thanks for the PR, although I'm not sure it makes sense to make this change. The current version already works on 1.21.8, so all this would achieve is potentially breaking 1.21.7 support.

The current PR also only does part of the changes to change the version it's built against.

I personally can't install this version on CurseForge because it's incompatible with my current 1.21.8 :(

That sounds like an issue with the CurseForge launcher, nowhere is the latest release marked as incompatible with 1.21.8, so this would not change anything (as it'd be equally compatible with 1.21.8). You should ask your launcher for help with that.

That version already is listed as supported. It's not in the title of the release if that's what you mean, because WECUI's versioning is done for the release it was cut on rather than supported versions
