Im not sure what the exact cause of the problem is, but can you implement a fix the "Something went wrong with the authentication, please try to login again" error

that should be a different pr bc im not convinced that it's that simple and we're trying to recover from today's situation, not fix the minor, ongoing issue that's addressed by the above

Thats fair, but I cant test the changes in that case, and I am not merging changes without testing them. @BigSpaceships @goosenotduck can one of you test this

Looking back through Slack, i dont think that is minor, ongoing issue. This only started happening today when changes got merged, and unlike a different ongoing issue, this does not get fixed by refreshing or clearing cache
