Hello @marslandALICE, @romainschotter, @jackal1-66, and @iarsene

As we discussed on Wednesday, I would like to make the following modifications to the generator:

  • Set the flat pt down to 0.5 GeV (previously 1 GeV)
  • Make the low pt threshold independent of the scale (for jpsi, we previously had a 5 GeV cutoff)

@iarsene, is the 0.5 GeV lower pt cut acceptable for you, or would you prefer to go down to 0 pt?
Roma, I assume 0.5 GeV is acceptable for the K0 and Lambdas.

Fix for the Z0 I did not validate yet.

Marian

Hello @jackal1-66

Can you check the code changes - there are small changes needed for K0, Lambda and Jpsi.

Thank you
Marian

Ciao @miranov25, the inv_pt still contains the pt_scale as a term, so how is the value independent from it? Maybe I'm missing something here...

Hello @jackal1-66
You are right.
Indeed, if i want to have the same range for all, I have to disable scale.
Now it is scale independent
