How to implement restore feature with Platform API

I have difficulties implementing restore feature, current API does not have direct endpoint for this. Fork endpoint creates new chat with new chatId which is not what I need. I also tried to use Update Chat Version Files endpoint, but it does not allow to delete or create files. 
Is there any other options?
