How to use gdb with the latest bootloader version

I originally use bootloader 0.9, i just migrated to 0.11 this day, but i was unable to use rust-gdb on it (because i cant find the binary executable file that it generated)

Do you want to use rust-gdb on the bootloader or your kernel? Either way, the binaries should be in the target folder. The bootloader should at a path similar to target/debug/build/bootloader-c89a5f13dd522292/out/bin/... (might not be c89a5f13dd522292).

Okay, then those are not the files you're looking for.

I can't answer that for you because the answer depends a lot on how you build your kernel. Generally speaking, I'd look for a binary with the same name used by your kernel crate.

There's nothing special about the location of the kernel. It should be in the same place, you'd expect for any other Rust project. If you need help with that, look up the cargo reference docs.

I don't use debuggers often, but when I do, I usually use gdb or gef.

For the basic example kernel, the binary is in target/x86_64-unknown-none/debug/deps/artifact/kernel-adc6f5433a1123ef/bin/kernel-adc6f5433a1123ef.
