More highlight options #29
Description
For me, highlight doesn't often work, or it's not very visible if there's a lot of mixed content (images + text, see youtube channel videos for example).
It would be great to be able to add more highlight options. See some examples below:
- option to add scale as a highlight effect
- option to set the highlight color
- option to enable some sorts of animation on the results
- option to render an arrow, or line to the found element (again to be able to find result visually on the page)
- option to add a border or outline as a highlight effect
- option to apply highlight to the parent element instead of selected phrase - this will help to deal with dynamically refreshed HTML (like on youtube, where links keep resetting); it will also help with links which are short, and/or represented with an image
- option to add custom styling to search results (?)
There are many reasons for it, but for me, it's mostly problems with searching through youtube channel videos. If I'm watching a series, then it's really tough to find the next video in the series (if there are multiple of them on the channel). Since highlight is not very visible to me, and I need to see the tile to be able to judge whether or not I've seen the video, I can't utilize search results very well.
