synchronisation issue between Pd and ableton

When using with pure data it seems as the metronome starts before ableton. I have ableton link enabled but when when I press play playback does not always start as soon as you press play. My applications keeps timing basic on metronome steps.

Is there any way to only allow the metronome start in pure data once it starts in ableton using your addon
