bash no longer working - .396 and .397

Describe the bug

when any bash command is run in .396 and .397 looks like it fails.

Invalid session ID: 0. Please supply a valid session ID to read output from.

Affected version

GitHub Copilot CLI 0.0.397.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

1. ask copilot to run ls -al
2. watch it fail

❯ please run ls -al

● List directory contents with details
$ ls -al
└ 1 line...

Read shell output:
Waiting up to 10 seconds for command output
Invalid session ID: 0. Please supply a valid session ID to read output from.
