vscode integration like claude-code-cli?

I'm trying to use this instead of anthropic-ai/claude-code. One thing I find useful is selecting text and the agent see that selection directly from the terminal, as well as being able to see the diffs it is producing in the ide and accept/reject from there. I believe this is working via an vscode extension, but I'm not quite sure of the exact details.

Is this is something that copilot-cli can do as well?
