Description
Describe the bug
I use Copy App frequently to isolate my code from one version to the next. It is hugely efficient and has saved me from bricking my code.
Either way, what has surprised me is that files deleted a long time ago (several "versions" (Copy Apps earlier)) show up in later versions. This is really annoying and is creating problems.
For instance, I used to have an "install/" directory in the root of an app to which I copied files (I had to prompt this) necessary to create a working installation kit. At one point like 50 versions ("Copy Apps") back I took a backup of my "install/" directory to test something. Then I got rid of it. Later on I also got fed up with using the "install/" directory much due to that I had to do continuous prompting.
When I installed things, I just made a zip of my "install/" directory and I uploaded it to my server to deploy it.
I am currently at version 79 (so version when I say it is not versioning as part of Dyad, it's me doing "Copy App") and back at version 32 I created a zip file called dbm-032.zip . I forgot to delete directly after and this has haunted me since then.
A few versions later I realized that dbm-032.zip was still present so I deleted it. GOSH! I had already stopped using my "install/" directory structure and the "install - Copy" (Windows way of naming copies) was STILL THERE despite that those I had deleted. Now I started to notice that DESPITE that I had deleted these files ("install/" and everything under it, "install - Copy/" and everything under it and dbm-032.zip) they keep on coming back despite that they should be unknown to the latest version.
It can't work like this! I see it as a terrible bug. If there is some sort of check what is part of a project and that you can't change that, then please create a "Resync" feature (resyncing the current version with what is in the current project and shapes the new basis for how this will be treated from then going forward)that updates whatever library you use as a basis for haunting my later versions with old files.
To Reproduce
Described above.
Expected behavior
Deleted files should not reappear in later versions.
